Why join the Patient Reference Group (PRG)?
The PRG is a partnership between patients, GPs and the practice.
The PRG works in partnership with us and in line with available resources intends to:
- Give patients a voice in the organisation and provision of their care
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of services provided by Ashdown Forest Health Centre
- Promote communication and co-operation between the AFHC and patients
- Influence (from a patient perspective) the provision of secondary healthcare in the local area
- Provide a link between the Group and the CCG PRG
- Carry out research into the views of those who use the practice (and their carers)
- Fundraise to improve the services provided by the practice
If you wish to become a member of the Patient Reference Group, please contact Gill Williams on 01342 823121 or email to Gillian.williams6@nhs.net for more information.
